Refund Policy for Anchor
Last updated: 2026-08-28
Because Anchor's subscription (Anchor Pro) is billed through two different payment processors depending on how you purchased it, refunds are handled by whichever processor took your payment — not by us directly.
Purchases via Direct Download on Mac (LemonSqueezy)
Direct-download purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, acting as Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles billing, taxes, and refunds for these purchases under their own published refund policy. To request a refund for a direct-download purchase, use the customer portal link in your purchase confirmation email, or contact LemonSqueezy support directly.
We are happy to help point you in the right direction if you contact us at anchorverifycode@gmail.com, but the refund decision itself is made by LemonSqueezy.
Purchases via iPad or Mac App Store (Apple)
Purchases made through the App Store are billed by Apple, and all refund requests for these purchases must go through Apple, not us — we do not have the ability to issue App Store refunds ourselves. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase
- Find the Anchor subscription and follow the prompts to report an issue or request a refund
Apple's refund decisions are governed by Apple's own policies and, where applicable, local consumer protection law.
Free Trials
If you cancel during a free trial period, you will not be charged. If a charge already occurred because cancellation happened after the trial ended, the refund process above (LemonSqueezy or Apple, depending on where you purchased) applies.
